QUESTIONS

Straight answers.

What is an .ics file?

An .ics file is the universal calendar format. When a guest opens one, their calendar app, Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Outlook, offers to add the event with the title, time, and location already filled in. SaveDate builds a correct one for your event in a click, timezone converted and ready to attach or link.

What is a smart link?

A hosted page at savedate.bossospro.com that shows your event with one button for each calendar platform. You share one short link and every guest gets the right add-to-calendar flow for their app, and you see how many clicked.

What happens when the event changes?

Edit the event here and the smart link updates in place. The link in the eblast you already sent now shows the new time. The .ics also carries a sequence number, so calendars that re-import it update the existing entry instead of duplicating it.

Do my recipients need an account?

No. Guests never sign in to anything. They click, their calendar opens, the event is filled in. You only sign in if you want hosted smart links tied to your email.

How does the auto-fill handle my pasted text?

Your pasted text or fetched page is used once to draft the event fields, then discarded. Nothing you paste is stored. Hosted links keep only the event fields you approved. The details are in the privacy policy.

Whatever changes, the circle holds.

Edit the event once and every link you already sent points to the new time. The date your guests circled stays circled.
